From October 27 to November 4, I am hosting an incredible 8-day journey through the legendary landscapes of Romania, and this adventure is open to everyone who has a passion for exploring the world. What’s on the Spooktacular Itinerary?
We start in the vibrant capital of Bucharest before winding our way into the medieval heart of Romania. Here is a taste of what we’ll experience together:
The Bran Castle Halloween Party: Put on your best costume for a thrilling night of dancing and celebration inside Count Dracula's legendary cliffside fortress.
Mighty Fortresses: We’ll explore the sweeping drawbridges of the Gothic Corvin Castle and tackle the 1,480 steps up to Poenari Castle, the true stronghold of Vlad the Impaler.
Winding Alpine Passes: We’ll cruise across the majestic Carpathian Mountains on spectacular roads.
A Traditional Campfire Night: We’ll gather around a crackling outdoor fire for a traditional Transylvanian feast and a tasting of pălincă (Romania's famous fruit brandy) to banish the evil spirits!
Underground History: We’ll walk through the massive, hundreds-of-meters-deep galleries of the ancient Turda salt mine.
